Adventures of Riverlea Farm Book Four

Welcome to the Adventures of Riverlea Farm in South Africa!

In this fourth book of the series, Riverlea Farm is full of chickens being chased by Diesel-Cat and Ruby-Rose. Jon-the-Vet decides a friend for Ruby-Rose may help curb her antics. He comes across another puppy at the SPCA named Delta-Blue and he brings her home. Together, Ruby-Rose and Delta-Blue get up to their own adventures and wait until you see what they do when Jon-the-Vet and Sweet-Pen go out one night! Book four concludes with a matching activity of farm tracks and a "Did You Know" information about a child and dog training program called "Funda Nenja" which means "learning with a dog" in isiZulu.

Through rhyme and humor, and occasional life lessons, children will enjoy the adventures to be found on a farm in South Africa. The series has been written by Penelope Alison, a speech language pathologist, for the language enrichment of children ages two to seven. The series can also serve as a reader for children in grades two to three looking to expand their reading skills.
